Key Responsibilities

  • Adding and deleting Teamcenter users is carried out based on project requirements.
  • User rights and access levels across various modules are managed as needed.
  • License usage is monitored, and coordination for purchasing new licenses is done when required.
  • Serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for user queries, issues, and problem reports.
  • Timely resolution and guidance are provided to users across different geographies.
  • Coordination with external suppliers is maintained for technical discussions, implementation timelines, issue resolution, and escalations.
  • Teamcenter system upgrades are planned and executed as necessary.
  • Upgrade timelines and instructions are communicated to all users.
  • System recovery activities are performed to ensure business continuity.
  • Participation in testing Teamcenter upgrades, including work on test servers.
  • Contributions are made to evaluations and rollout discussions for new features.
  • Solid Edge integration with Teamcenter is supported.
  • Coordination with the ERP team is ensured for Business Central interface requirements.

Role Overview

Engineering Information Systems(EIS) is a central group of expereinced professionals enabling global engineering groups across Lam research to effectively utilize design tools to perform engineering activities.

EIS is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Teamcenter Administrator to be the single point of contact (SPOC) for Teamcenter-related operations, user support, and system coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of Teamcenter PLM systems, manage user access, coordinate upgrades, and interface with external suppliers for technical implementations. 

This position is based out of Bangalore and expected to work from office.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM administration supporting global teams
  • Familiarity with Solid Edge and ERP systems (preferably Business Central)
  • Strong coordination, problem solving and analytical skills in troubleshooting/resolving PDM challenges, managing datasets / settings and offering technical support.
  • Experience with systems integration, upgrades, recovery, handling configurations/options and light weight modelling.
