The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry insights and experience to help our customers deliver on their technology roadmaps. We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes. 

 

The impact you’ll make

The position will be based in Italy, while supporting sales activities for customers with operations across multiple regions. It will partner with European sales teams and senior management across geographies to drive commercial execution and operational efficiency.

The role provides sales support functions including coordination of customer engagements, preparation of commercial proposals, and alignment across internal stakeholders.

This position operates in a highly cross-functional and international environment, requiring strong collaboration with global account teams, business units, and support organizations.

The role will be exposed to confidential and sensitive company information, which must be handled with the highest level of integrity and discretion.

What you’ll do

  • Issue standard quotations / purchase orders (PG/CSBG systems)
  • Manage NSR processes (submission, approval, quotation updates)
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures for the review and approval of quotations and contracts
  • Perform necessary checks with relevant stakeholders to ensure correct system configurations
  • Submit specifications (SPECs)
  • Create and update CRM entries and ensure alignment with the Account Manager
  • Create and keep up-to-date sales opportunities within internal platforms.
  • Maintains accurate customer contact and support the submission of customer visit within internal platforms.
  • Issue quotation for service and upgrades
  • Create and process required service orders in SAP
  • Supports the preparation and submission of customer contracts through company systems,
  • Release invoices for contractual billing / paid services
  • Create ADM requests and forward them to the Account Manager for further completion
  • Maintain and update the reference pricing file
  • Provide sales and service support to prepare and update sales and service quotations in accordance with sales team instructions and procedures for regional customers
  • May perform other related duties as assigned or requested,
  • Might back-up other Administrative assistant

Who we’re looking for

Qualified school certificates and/or related business administration, commercial or technical education. 2 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative, secretarial, or sales support required.

Preferred qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of accuracy and discretion

Proficient in computer usage, Microsoft Office apps

Knowledge of other software may be a plus (SAP, CRM..)

Good spoken and written Italian and English

Self motivated and able to effectively manage own workload,

able to work with initiative

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
